Dura-Gloss Varnish is a fast-drying, full-gloss, urethane-modified alkyd varnish that makes the surface both hard and flexible. The perfect blend of UV filters makes the varnish even more durable, making the surface long-lasting and just like a professional. The easy-to-apply varnish is resistant to wear and abrasion within a few hours of application.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable detergent.
- New construction: Unpainted surface: Sand the surface and remove dust. - New wood: Impregnate the dry and clean surface with a suitable wood impregnation agent and allow to dry. - Plywood: Seal the dry and clean surface with a suitable wood pore varnish. - Teak: Degrease the surface with a suitable degreaser. - The surface must be dry and clean before application. - The moisture content must be below 16%. Maintenance and repair - Previously treated surface: Sand, clean and dry the surface. - Previously damaged varnished wood: Treatment of the wood may be necessary
