The NOA A-frame is designed for boats between 7 and 9.5 meters (22 and 31 feet) in length. The model has a total length of 8 to 10 meters and is built with telescopic A-legs that are placed in the ground at the bow and stern of the boat. The telescopic structure makes it easy to adjust the height of the frame as needed.
The brush tubes can be shortened or adjusted if they extend too far. For longer boats, the A-frame can be extended with additional brush tubes and deck legs. NOA also offers accessories such as cross supports, brackets and telescopic legs for additional stability.
Tip: Always choose a frame that is slightly longer than your boat. The brush tubes should not extend more than 30 cm over the bow or stern to prevent the tarpaulin from tearing.
Like all NOA products, the A-frame tarpaulin is made of high-quality anodized aluminum, making it lightweight, durable and corrosion-resistant. The structure provides reliable protection for your boat during winter storage and is easy to dismantle and store for the summer season.
Easy installation
The assembly begins by placing the rear pair of A-legs together with one of the ridge tubes. The frame is then built forward section by section, placing the legs at even intervals. If any ridge tube is too long, it can easily be cut or removed.
To ensure a smooth installation, it is a good idea to check all parts before starting – smaller pipes may be packed inside larger ones. A practical tip is to mark the parts with tape or a marker during the first installation, which will make assembly easier in the future.
Tips for smooth operation
Mark the center of the tarpaulin to make it easier to position it. If more than one person is involved in the installation, make sure each person has their own 8 mm Allen key. During disassembly in cold weather, it may be helpful to use two T-joints to give you a better grip on the brush tubes.
