The fuel pump supplies diesel to the engine. It is often mounted on the side of the engine and pumps diesel from the tank to the injection pump. In many models, the fuel pump is driven by the engine camshaft.

It is extremely important that the fuel pump is in good condition and working as intended. If you are unsure about the condition of the pump, replace it!

The fuel pump is often called the feed pump and should not be confused with the injection pump, which distributes fuel to the various cylinders.

This fuel pump corresponds to the original number 859428 and is designed specifically for the following engine versions:
2001, 2001B, 2001AG, 2001BG, 2001D, 2001R
