Gelcoat Filler is a two-component polyester filler that stands out for its good mechanical properties and high durability in varying weather conditions. Waterproof surface
Rinse the surface clean of salt and impurities with fresh water at high pressure
Let the surface dry.
Sand the surface smooth with sandpaper grit 100–240.
Remove dust by brushing and clean with a degreaser
Mix a quantity of putty about the size of a golf ball, i.e. approximately 40 ml.
Add 3–4 cm of hardener, or about 2 percent.
Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and free of air bubbles.
Use protective gloves and goggles.
Close the putty and hardener immediately after dispensing to prevent drying.
Spread with a steel trowel so that the compound also penetrates the sanding patterns.
Fill to desired thickness, maximum 3 mm
Let it harden and sand with coarse sandpaper, grit 240–800.
Finish with finer sandpaper, grit 800–1200
The best working temperature is around +20 C.
Approximately 40–60 minutes at temperatures above 20 C
Clean tools with ethyl acetate immediately after use
Grease, oil and silicone completely prevent the product from sticking
