Plastic Padding Marine Filler is an easy-to-use polyester filler specially developed for boating and marine applications. It is ideal for repairing holes and cracks above the waterline in fiberglass reinforced plastic, steel and aluminum. Once dry, the filler is easy to sand, machine, drill, tap and polish, making it a versatile solution for boat repair and maintenance.
The product can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Preparation
Clean and sand the repair surface carefully.
Remove rust and paint
Recommended sandpaper grit 80–120
Dosage
Mix a quantity of putty about the size of a golf ball, i.e. approximately 40 ml.
Add 3–4 cm of hardener, or about 2 percent.
Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and free of air bubbles.
Use protective gloves and goggles.
Close the packages immediately after dispensing.
Dissemination
Spread with a steel trowel so that the compound penetrates the sanding patterns.
Fill to desired thickness, maximum 3 mm
Let it harden and roughen with sandpaper grit 80–120.
Finish with sandpaper grit 120–320
The best working temperature is above +20 C.
Curing time
Approximately 20–35 minutes at temperatures above +20 C
Purifying
Clean tools with ethyl acetate or cellulose thinner immediately after use
Grease, oil and silicone completely prevent the product from sticking
Steel, aluminum and galvanized steel must be sanded and degreased before application.
