Sleipner/Side-Power bow thrusters are easy to install, for example they can be installed at an angle over a fiberglass tunnel. The motor can also be rotated to make installation easier in tight spaces. The cables and control panel, which are purchased separately, have plug-and-go connectors and only fit in one direction.
Other advantages of this bow thruster
- Easy installation
- Operates on 12V direct current (DC)
- Flexible coupling between engine and shaft - protects the drivetrain if foreign objects hit the propeller
