Advanced bow thruster from Sleipner/Side-Power
Suitable for boats under 6-8m long, it is very compact and efficient and is the only one in the series for Ø110 tunnels.
The SE30 is equipped with a five-blade propeller designed for extremely quiet and efficient operation. The technology called Q-PROP™ has undergone thousands of tests to optimize performance, allowing for:
- Up to 75% noise reduction measured in a controlled environment
- 20-40% average noise reduction in tested installations
- Up to 5% more thrust
Sleipner/Side-Power bow thrusters are flexible to install, for example they can be installed at an angle over a fiberglass tunnel. The motor can also be turned - all to make installation as smooth as possible, as space is often limited on boats. The special remote controls and control panel, which are purchased separately, have plug-and-go connectors and only fit in one direction.

- Operates on 12V direct current (DC)
- Galvanic isolation between motor and gearbox
- Intelligent Power Control (IPC) and overheating protection - protects the bow thruster in the event of faults and monitors operation

This bow thruster should not be used as a stern thruster, choose a larger model for this purpose.
