- Pulling force 40-48kg
- For 8-10.5m boats
- Fiberglass tunnel with Ø125 diameter
Advanced bow thruster from Sleipner/Side-Power
The SE40 is the smallest model in the series and is suitable for boats under 7 meters long, it is very compact and efficient and is the only one in the series for Ø125 tunnels.
The SE40 is equipped with a five-blade propeller designed for extremely quiet and efficient operation. The technology called Q-PROP™ has undergone thousands of tests to optimize performance, allowing for:
- Up to 75% noise reduction measured in a controlled environment
- 20-40% average noise reduction in tested installations
- Up to 5% more thrust
Sleipner/Side-Power bow thrusters are flexible to install, for example they can be installed at an angle over a fiberglass tunnel. The motor can also be turned - all to make installation as smooth as possible, as space is often limited on boats. The special remote controls and control panel, which are purchased separately, have plug-and-go connectors and only fit in one direction.
Other advantages of this bow thruster
- Smooth installation
- Operates on 12V direct current (DC)
- Galvanic isolation between motor and gearbox
- Intelligent Power Control (IPC) and overheating protection - protects the bow thruster in the event of faults and monitors operation
Complete your new bow thruster with a control panel, control cable, electrical installation and fiberglass tunnel. Remote controls are also available as accessories.
This bow thruster should not be used as a stern thruster, choose a larger model for this purpose.
