Flush-mounted skin fitting made of composite (reinforced nylon) suitable for use both below and above the waterline. When installed below the waterline, the TruDesign ball valve must be installed directly in the skin fitting. Suitable for all types of hulls, aluminum, steel, wood, fiberglass, etc. The material is very strong and lightweight. The material also cannot rust. Resistant to chemicals and can withstand diesel, gasoline, solvents, etc. UV-resistant.
Maximum body thickness below the waterline: 36mm (the ball valve to be connected requires 70% of the thread of the feedthrough to be installed correctly).
Use Sikaflex 292 or 591 to seal the penetration.
