The Victron Lithium NG 200Ah is a modern LiFePO? battery designed for high performance, low weight and reliability in both automotive and marine DC systems. It has a built-in shunt that measures cell voltage, temperature and current flow, with data passed to the battery management system (BMS) and the VictronConnect app or a GX device.
An improved IP rating means the battery withstands demanding conditions. LiFePO? chemistry delivers low self-discharge, low internal resistance, high efficiency and fast charging — the battery doesn't need to be kept fully charged to stay healthy, unlike a traditional lead-acid battery, making it considerably more practical for the irregular use pattern of a boating season.
The battery can be connected in series or parallel for 12–48V systems, and combined with recommended control systems such as Victron Lynx Smart BMS 500 NG, Victron VE.Bus BMS NG or Victron Small BMS NG, you get correct cell balancing, protection and data communication across inverter, solar and DC load systems. Compared to lead-acid, the battery saves more than 70% in space — a significant advantage in a tight battery box.
