The A 7A charger for marine applications, for medium-sized boats, provides complete maintenance for small boats with a 12-volt battery. It can be used as both a starter and a service battery. The M100 is a fully automatic eight-stage charger that delivers 7 amps and is ideal for batteries from 14 to 150 Ah and for maintenance charging up to 225 Ah. AGM mode provides the best possible charge for AGM batteries, which require a slightly higher charging voltage. CTEK fully automatic battery chargers can safely analyse, repair, charge and maintain all types of lead and acid batteries.

CTEK’S UNIQUE EIGHT-STEP CHARGING PROCESS:
- Desulfation – This phase detects sulfated batteries. It removes sulfate from the lead plates of the cell using current and voltage pulses, which improves battery capacity.
- Soft Start – Tests the battery’s charge capacity. This step prevents continued charging of a faulty battery.
- Basic charge – The stage charges the battery at maximum current until approximately 80% of the battery's charge capacity is reached.
- Absorption - ready-to-use battery – The battery is charged at a decreasing current until 100% of the battery's charge capacity is reached.
- Analysis – This step tests whether the battery can hold a charge. If the battery cannot hold a charge, it may need to be replaced.
- Regeneration – You can add a regeneration phase to the charging process by selecting the RECOND program. During this process, the voltage increases, causing controlled gassing in the battery. Gassing mixes the battery acid and restores the battery’s performance.
- Maintenance ( battery fully charged) – Maintains the battery voltage at the maximum level by charging it at a constant voltage.
- Pulse, Trickle Charge – This stage maintains the battery’s power at 95–100%. The charger monitors the battery voltage and provides a pulse if necessary to keep the battery fully charged.
