Required cable length when using a transom or engine well mount: measure the distance from the center of the steering shaft to the center of the engine, around the steering cable installation route. Subtract 10 cm for each 90° bend = required cable length.
Cable length when the cable sheath is attached to the engine exhaust pipe: as above, but add 30 cm to the length.
