The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is ideal for use in vehicles such as boats, classic cars, motorcycles and caravans. Bluetooth Smart is a wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings and updating the charger as new features become available.
The most efficient charger Victron has ever made. Up to 94% efficiency produces up to four times less heat than the industry standard. When the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts. The charger can also charge lithium batteries. Housing IP 22.
Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm : test - bulk - absorption - reconditioning - float - storage. The Blue Smart Charger features a microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management. The adaptive feature automatically optimizes the charging process according to how the battery is being used. The feature optimizes current and voltage to charge the battery efficiently and safely, and protects the battery from damage and overheating. The output current decreases when the temperature rises to 50 °C, but the Blue Smart charger does not fail.
NIGHT and Low setting. When in NIGHT or Low mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 50% of the rated current and the charger is completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. Low mode can be ended manually.
Also suitable for Li-ion batteries. Li-ion batteries are charged using a simple bulk - absorption - float algorithm.
