Victron Energy Battery Charger BlueSmart IP67 13A

The waterproof Blue Smart IP67 battery charger also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO?) batteries with built-in Bluetooth so you can monitor the status of the charger and battery via your smartphone, tablet or laptop using the VictronConnect app.

The charger features a customizable 5-stage charging algorithm (bulk, absorption, recovery, float, storage). The Blue Smart charger features microprocessor-controlled customizable battery management. The customization feature automatically optimizes the process based on battery usage.

It is fully encapsulated, so water, oil or dirt will not damage the charger. The housing is made of cast aluminum and the electronics are embedded in resin.

It has two LEDs that indicate the charging status. Yellow LED: bulk charging (fast flashing), absorption (slow flashing), float (steady on), storage (off). Green LED: power on.

The IP67 charger consumes 95% or more of the efficiency, generating three to four times less heat. When the battery is fully charged, the power consumption is less than one watt, which is five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Unlike many other chargers, Victron's Blue Smart IP67 charger also attempts to charge completely discharged batteries with a low current initially. Normal charging then resumes as soon as the battery terminals have reached sufficient voltage.
