The fully waterproof Blue Smart IP67 is a new 17A professional charger that also charges lithium batteries (LiFePo). With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can monitor the charger's status from your smartphone, tablet or computer using the VictronConnect app.
Adaptive 5-stage charging algorithm (bulk - absorption - conditioning - float - storage). The Blue Smart charger has a microprocessor-controlled battery management. The feature automatically adapts the charging process according to how the battery is used.
Fully encapsulated and shockproof, so water, oil or dirt will not damage the charger. The housing is cast aluminum and the electronics are molded in resin.
Two LEDs to indicate charging status. Yellow LED: bulk charging (flashing fast), absorption (flashing slow), float (continuously on) and storage (off). Green LED: power on
High efficiency: With over 95% efficiency, Blue Smart chargers generate three to four times less heat. When the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than one watt, which is five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Unlike many other brands of chargers, the Blue Smart IP67 charger attempts to charge a deeply discharged battery by forcing it to a low charging current. The charger switches to normal charging current as soon as a sufficiently high terminal voltage is measured across the battery terminals.
