Remote monitoring and control - built-in Bluetooth
You can remotely monitor and control the various functions of your Smart Solar MPPT charger by connecting via Bluetooth and connecting it to your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) web portal, you can access the full power of your MPPT anytime, anywhere, and both services are free. For remote installation – even if there is no internet connection or phone coverage nearby – you may be able to monitor your MPPT by connecting it via Bluetooth to an optional LoRaWAN (Long Range Broadband) device.
Load output
The smart load output function prevents damage from discharged batteries. You can set a voltage level at which Smart Solar will disconnect the load, thus preventing unnecessary discharge of your batteries. And here comes the smart part: Smart Solar tries to reach a hundred percent charge every day. If this is not possible - during bad weather - the device increases the cut-off voltage level daily until it succeeds. We call this feature BatteryLife because it maintains the health of the battery and extends its service life.
