Victron Orion XS 1400 DC-DC Charger

The Victron Orion XS 1400 is a fully configurable DC-DC charger delivering up to 1400W output and working in both 12V and 24V systems — more powerful and with a wider voltage range than the previous 12/12 model. Passive cooling through an efficient aluminium PCB gives up to 98% efficiency with no fan, even at full load up to 40°C.

The charger automatically detects engine running status via built-in sensing, making it safe to use on modern Euro 5/6 vehicles with smart alternator systems — charging only activates while the engine is running, so it never interferes with the vehicle's own electrical system. It supports multiple battery types, including lead-acid and lithium (e.g. LiFePO4), with eight preset charge profiles or a fully custom algorithm where you can adjust bulk/absorption/float voltages and temperature compensation — important especially for lithium batteries that need precise charging.

Connect to the VictronConnect app via built-in Bluetooth or VE.Direct from your phone, tablet or computer, and the VE.Direct port also lets you link the charger to a Cerbo GX monitoring device or other Victron equipment via VE.Smart Networking and DVCC. Units can be paralleled without limit to increase charge current — for example, three units in parallel deliver 150A in a 12?12V setup. An IP65 rating ensures resistance to dust, vibration and moisture, making it an excellent choice for marine installations too.
